Description
Slowly but surely we’re dipping our toes in modulation. Our first is the 87 Series Tremolo. This is a solid percussive tremolo pedal. It has rate and depth controls, and it costs less than $100!
Tremolo is a classic effect (in fact, the first electric guitar effect ever made was a tremolo). It is used in numerous noteworthy songs, including:
- “Guerilla Radio” by Rage Against the Machine
- “Gimme Shelter” by the Rolling Stones
- “Crimson and Clover” by Tommy James and the Shondells
- “How Soon is Now?” by the Smiths
We use modern, low-noise transistors to make sure that when the tremolo pedal is engaged, no signal loss happens. Use the rate to take you from slow-moving monstrosity to rapid-fire machine gun.
