The Little Demon is a boutique Big Muff-style fuzz with an added octave that will make your mama cry because you don’t go to church no more. Each machine carries the signal-destroying power of an op amp muff fuzz and a wild, clanging octave fuzz slammed together.

We started with the Op-Amp Big Muff, beefed up the tone control, and added a green-ringer-style octave circuit (which can be purchased as a stand-alone pedal).

The idea for this pedal came from Justus Gash of FuzzImp FX. Justus wanted a giant fuzz pedal to be Demonic Machines’ flagship product. What resulted was a $666 boutique big muff pedal, The Demonic Machine. While this fuzz unit is the ultimate doom fuzz, the price is a little much for your average player.

We set out to make a more affordable Demonic Machine boutique big muff pedal. We left out the valve circuit, redesigned the fuzz section, and added a blend. What resulted was The Little Demon, the wickedest Muff-style fuzz with an added octave effect this world has ever seen.

CONTROLS

• LEVEL controls to volume.
• GAIN controls the awesomeness.
• BODY controls the midrange.
• SPIRIT controls the tone.
• The toggle switch allows you to switch the order of the octave circuit and the Muff circuit.
• BLEND controls the blend of the octave circuit.

The Little Demon runs on 9VDC power.
